Incorporated in 1950, The Penray Companies continue to grow strong after
50 years of service in the heavy-duty and automotive chemical industry.
There are two main plants where we manufacture both liquids and aerosol
products. They are in Elk Grove Village and Wheeling Illinois. Penray is
comprised of four separate business units: heavy-duty, automotive, export,
and custom manufacturing.
The heavy-duty division is known as Power Fleet. This division markets
the Pencool® brand engine coolant products. These products are the most
respected in the industry and include antifreeze inhibitors, supplemental
coolant additives (SCAs), diesel fuel additives, and the advanced
Need-Release® extended service interval coolant filters.
The automotive division manufactures and markets three lines of products.
The first, Performance Products, is marketed under the Penray brand, and
is engineered for use by professional maintenance and repair technicians.
The Super-X® brand is packaged with the retail, do-it yourself customer
in mind. Finally, JetGo® is geared for the convenience store. All three lines
offer high quality products and eye-catching packaging. They are regarded as
high quality product lines in the industry and have loyal customer followings.
Penray exports products to 44 countries worldwide. We offer foreign language
labels and catalogs for both the automotive and heavy-duty products.
Custom products are also frequently formulated to customers’ requirements.
Finally, our Private Label/Custom Product division completes the company
offerings with an impressive array of custom formulations and packaging
capabilities. This Penray division offers custom professional product
development by our staff of experienced automotive chemists and marketers. |
