Fuel Storage

For larger fleets, fuel storage is a necessity. Typically a 10,000 gallon underground tank is filled on a regular basis by a supplier. Often, problems start in the tanker on the way to the fleet. Fuel is often so fresh that it is still warm when loaded into the transport. As it cools, dissolved water condenses and falls out. The fuel and water are delivered to the customer’s tank. The water in the tank can cause rust and feed microbe growth. Periodic monitoring and treatment of the storage tank prevents serious problems.
